| For an analysis and a comparison of the pictures of women and men in jokes 453 jokes about women, 586 jokes about blondes and 858 jokes about men have been interpreted and classified by the principles of qualitative analysis. The material has been taken from new joke books and joke collections in the internet. For the analysis only such jokes have been taken, in which someone is just object of the joke because he or she is male or female. One result was, that jokes about women (especially jokes about blondes) show the male ideal of an attractive, sexual potent and willing woman, whereas jokes about men show an unnecessary and sexual impotent man with ridiculous sexual organs.
