| The problem of gender equality in Lithuania and the role and situation of women's studies at Vilnius University are discussed. It is emphasized that gender problematics and research have become a part of the university's democratization policy. However, the present Lithuanian government has not shown any initiative in implementing equal opportunity policy in the country. | |
